What is your favorite place to go in your city?
The Preston Guild Wheel has to be my favourite place in my city. It is a cycling and walking route of around 21 miles, circling the city of Preston, UK.
The Guild Wheel is not just a route; it’s a gateway to the unseen corners of Preston. As you embark on this adventure, you’ll find yourself leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind, entering a serene landscape that many locals may not even be aware of. The trail weaves through urban parks, picturesque canal towpaths, and lush green spaces, leading you to places you wouldn’t believe exist within the city limits.
What makes the Guild Wheel truly special is its ability to reveal hidden havens that showcase the diversity of Preston’s landscape. As you cycle or stroll along, you’ll encounter charming woodlands, expansive meadows, and quaint villages that feel like they’re worlds away from the city centre.
