The Guild Wheel is not just a route; it’s a gateway to the unseen corners of Preston. As you embark on this adventure, you’ll find yourself leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind, entering a serene landscape that many locals may not even be aware of. The trail weaves through urban parks, picturesque canal towpaths, and lush green spaces, leading you to places you wouldn’t believe exist within the city limits.
What makes the Guild Wheel truly special is its ability to reveal hidden havens that showcase the diversity of Preston’s landscape. As you cycle or stroll along, you’ll encounter charming woodlands, expansive meadows, and quaint villages that feel like they’re worlds away from the city centre.
The Guild Wheel is not just a cycling or walking route; it’s a portal to hidden wonders within Preston. As it winds through rural landscapes and unveils the city’s best-kept secrets, it has secured its place as my favourite spot in this vibrant city.
